Testing
Take control of your health and join us in the fight against hepatitis C

What is point-of-care testing?
A point-of-care test is a simple blood test conducted at our premises or another location we might provide outreach at. With rapid results available, you can receive immediate treatment and consultation on the same day or within the week. At Hepatitis ACT, we employ state-of-the-art RNA testing technology that detects active hepatitis C infections.

The process is effortless:

  • A small blood sample is taken from your fingertip.
  • Our in-house analysis with cutting-edge technology ensures swift results.
  • Within an hour, you’ll have your test results in hand.

Positive result? We’ve got your back:
If the test result indicates a positive hepatitis C infection, there’s no need to worry. Hepatitis ACT immediately links you to our GP through the REACH, TEACH, TREAT, THRIVE (RTTT) Program. Treatment can commence almost immediately, providing you with the support you need to thrive.
