Our vision
Better health and wellbeing of our community through the elimination of viral hepatitis
Our history
In our journey to support and empower those affected by viral hepatitis, we’ve come a long way. Before our establishment, individuals seeking information about viral hepatitis in our community had to rely on external organisations. Today, we proudly stand as an independent and dedicated ACT hepatitis organisation, working hand in hand with a national network of state/territory hepatitis organisations to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected.
With a rich history of service, we were formerly known as the ACT Hepatitis C Council and later as the ACT Hepatitis Resource Centre. Our growth and evolution reflect our unwavering commitment to creating a better future for everyone impacted by hepatitis in the Australian Capital Territory.
Located in the heart of Canberra, our leafy inner-north office in Turner, provides a welcoming space for individuals seeking support, resources, and knowledge. We understand the importance of a community-driven approach and strive to empower our members with the information they need to make informed decisions about their health.
Together, let’s continue our fight against viral hepatitis and work towards a healthier, stigma-free future for all. Join us in shaping a brighter tomorrow for those impacted by hepatitis in the ACT.
Your well-being is our priority. Together, we can make a difference.
